About the Author

Dixie Wells is the pen name of the writer who began his literary efforts several years ago, after the death of a close friend inspired the writer to “leave something behind.” Dixie resides in Northern Virginia, with a spouse of thirty-one years. Dixie has a son, who designed this website and a daughter whose husband, young son and younger daughter, live in nearby Maryland.

About the Website

The site was designed by the writer's son who recently graduated from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. He received a Bachelors of Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Information Systems

The site is written using XHTML Transitional and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). The logo was hand drawn by the writer's spouse and then digitally edited through an open source image manipulation program entitled GIMP.
